Veterans Cordially Invited to MHS Annual Veterans’ Day Event

Mundelein High School officials cordially invite area veterans to take part in a solemn Veterans’ Day assembly on Wednesday, November 6 at 9 a.m. Last year, this assembly drew more than 120 veterans to take part in this ceremony of honor. The guest speaker for the event will be Medal of Honor recipient Sargent Allen J. Lynch, who received this highest military recognition for his service during the Vietnam War. He is also the author of the book, Zero to Hero.

Registration deadline is November 1. Veterans are welcome to register for the event by using this link https://goo.gl/ZLA7WK or by calling Mundelein High School at 847-949-2200.

Participating veterans should arrive at the MHS District Office building, just west of the high school, between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. They will be bussed to the high school in time to be escorted by a drumline into the main gym for the ceremony. Once the event has concluded all veterans will be honored at a brunch from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the District Office building.

For questions, more information, or to register, please contact Mundelein High School at 847-949-2200.
