Thanks, Mundelein! Tree Lighting Ceremony a Great Success

Mundelein’s annual 2018 Tree Lighting Ceremony was a huge success thanks to our residents who attended, the business community that donated, and the many people who worked behind the scenes to ensure a great event.

On behalf of Mayor Lentz and the Board of Trustees, the following deserve thanks and recognition:

• Mundelein Public Works and Engineering: Decorations, set-up and take down, creating the environment
• Mundelein Community Connection: Goodie Bags for children, Santa’s Cottage, cookies, and hot chocolate
• Mundelein Fire & Police Departments
• Ray Semple (Santa Claus) and Stephanie Howard (Mrs. Claus)
• 2018 Mundelein Queens
• Fremont Singers
• Fremont Library: Reading Night Before Christmas
• Mundelein Park District: cookies and hot chocolate (MCC did not provide)
• TieMart: Tree Lighting Socks
• Mundelein Residents-for your support of the event!
