Public Works and Engineering to Host Winter Operations Workshop

Take a Behind the Scenes to Learn How PW & E Keeps the Village Running Smoothly

Mundelein Residents--Here's your opportunity to take a behind the scenes look at what it takes to keep the Village operating smoothly during the winter months. Public Works & Engineering is pleased to host a free informational Winter Operations question and answer workshop for interested residents on November 14, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Village Hall board room.

The purpose of the presentation is to make residents more aware of how PW & E manages winter events, what it takes to manage storm events, and why the staff does certain tasks. PW & E staff will address specific topics including: winter staffing, equipment, materials, contractual services, and more.

Residents who have questions or are interested in learning what goes on behind the scenes of Mundelein’s winter operations are encouraged to attend.
