Mundelein Community Connection Recognizes Community Members for Contributions

Mundelein Community Connection (MCC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping Mundelein live up to its promise of being a welcoming and vibrant community, recently hosted its Annual Appreciation Dinner.

On behalf of Mayor Lentz and the Board of Trustees, we applaud the following volunteers for their contributions to helping to make Mundelein a great place to live, work, and raise a family:

“Debbie Mullen Volunteer of the Year Award”
Recipient: Lars Rasmussen
This award acknowledges the efforts of the recipient and inspires the many volunteers who share the “heart and soul” of Mundelein Community Connection.

“Leland ‘Trig’ Watson, Jr. Business of the Year Award”
Recipient: McDonald’s of Mundelein
This award acknowledges the efforts of a special business that has been an inspiration to others to contribute their time and talent to Mundelein Community Connection.

“Dr. Chester Ciecko Organization of the Year Award”
Recipient: The Kirk Players
This award acknowledges the effort of a special organization that has been an inspiration to others and to the community, and who has contributed their name and talent to Mundelein Community Connection.

Mundelein Community Connection’s mission is to organize and host events that foster community pride and contribute to an active, vibrant, and welcoming community.
