MPRD Executive Director Elected to Statewide Leadership Role

Margaret Resnick, Mundelein Park & Recreation District’s Executive Director, has been elected to serve as the Chicago Metro Region Representative on the Illinois Park & Recreation Association’s (IPRA) Board of Directors.

Resnick will be sworn in at the Illinois Association of Park District (IAPD)/IPRA “Soaring to New Heights” conference in January 2019. She and other newly elected association leaders review the Illinois Park & Recreation Association strategic plan, policies and procedures, and a detailed “State of the Association” presented by the IPRA Executive Director giving them up to the minute analysis of IPRA’s financial health, history, strategic plan and growth.

“My hope is to contribute to a strong future of IPRA by re-energizing membership and building participation,” Resnick said.

Resnick is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) and has been serving as Executive Director for Mundelein Park & Recreation District since 2007.

Established in 1944, the Illinois Park and Recreation Association’s mission is to provide and promote exceptional standards of education, networking, and resources for all professionals in the Illinois Park, recreation, and conservation communities.
