Diamond Lake Park— Mundelein Making Progress to Open Up Views of Lakefront

Mundelein continues to make progress to redevelop land around Diamond Lake making room for a 3.3 acre lakefront park with 400 feet of roadside visibility and 260 feet of lakefront access, located along Route 45 immediately north of Bill’s Pizza & Pub.

“The process of converting this parcel of land to a waterfront view should have a profound effect on the vibe and image at the south end of the village where thousands of cars travel by on a daily basis. This is a highly impactful beautification project,” Mayor Steve Lentz said.
