Congratulations to Mundelein’s Village Citizens’ Academy Participants

Congratulations to the graduates of the Village of Mundelein’s “Village Citizens’ Academy” an eight-week program designed to provide a unique glimpse on the various policies and procedures of the Village’s departments through a series of informational workshops.

Participants went behind the scenes to learn about Mundelein’s Administration, Fire, Police, and Public Works Departments. The ultimate goal of this class was to improve the transparency of the Village’s operations and engage a new population of Mundelein residents into the decision-making processes of the community.

The course was open to the residents of the Village of Mundelein and there was no cost to attend the academy. Since the first Village Citizens’ Academy was very well received, this course will be offered again.

For more information on the Village Citizens’ Academy, please email Jennifer Marshall at jmarshall@mundelein.org or call 847-968-4600.
