In Anticipation of Veteran’s Day 2019—Army Veteran to Share Message of Hope and Healing

In anticipation of Veteran’s Day 2019, Mundelein residents are cordially invited to hear an inspirational message from U.S. Army veteran Dr. Jon Kerstetter, a combat physician and flight surgeon who completed three combat tours of duty in Iraq. Dr. Kerstetter will present a “The Courage to Fight and Heal—A full-throttled story about life and how we can truly experience it,” on Friday October 18 from
7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Torch of Faith Worship Center-954 W Braeloch Road #1386, in Grayslake. The event is offered free of charge.

This presentation will speak to everyone but due to the subject matter, it is open to those 18 years and older. Veterans, those interested in military service, family members who have or will serve in the military, and those struggling with recovery or rehabilitation from military service will all benefit from Dr. Kerstetter’s story and his message of hope and healing.

Copies of Dr. Kerstetter’s book, “Crossings-A Doctor Solidier’s Story,” will be available at the event. The Wall Street Journal book reviews, called Crossings “Grave and pensive…but always engaging” and “Crossings offers intimate portraits of lives shaped by war.”

According to event organizer Robert Bickers, Dr. Kerstetter’s story is compelling and life-changing. This is a “don’t miss” event.
