The Village of Mundelein Fire Department, established in 1915, is a proud organization that continuously works to deliver the highest quality service. Led by a Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief, the Class 2 ISO rated Fire Department takes great pride in serving the Village.

The department is committed to delivering comprehensive services designed on an all-hazards approach. These services include: fire suppression, hazardous materials, technical rescue, emergency medical, risk prevention, community education and disaster preparedness/management.

Services are delivered by 40 career firefighter/paramedics. These highly trained and dedicated professionals operate out of 2 fire stations strategically located throughout the community. The Mundelein Fire Department strives to seek opportunities to improve our service delivery through advanced training and the use of the most current technology.
